Preparing for the Written Exam

Our driving instructors teach you the theoretical basics every driver needs to know. In addition, you receive many useful tips and extra information.

 

The theoretical basics consist of:

  • Personal requirements (vision, sobriety, etc.)
  • Rules of the road in LA
  • Traffic Signs, Traffic Lights, and Pavement Marking
  • Other drivers (characteristics and behaviour)
  • Efficiency ratings (how to get better gas mileage)
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Traffic Laws and Safe Driving Practices
  • Interstate Driving
  • Driving Emergencies, Driving Offenses
  • Basic Driving and Safety

Preparing for the Road Test

Our hands-on driver training is grounded in years of professional experience.  At PCNO DRIVING SCHOOL, you will enjoy our patient and friendly driving instructors, who are there to support you every step of the way.

 

There is a minimum number 8 hours mandated by LA law. However, we recommend a minimum of 10 hours for most first-time drivers. 

 

Once you have completed our theoretical training - or if you have already passed the Written Exam - you may sign up for driving lessons. We have a modern fleet of brand new Dodge Avenger's vehicles, and will teach you everything you need to know about operating and maintaining a motor vehicle.
